Tragedy struck Nitrud village of Majalgaon taluka in Beed District Maharashtra State, as a 15-year-old boy named Ghulam Mohammad Hafiz Murtaza Shaikh was brutally murdered on April 18.

Beed: (Tamsil Shahezad Khan) The incident has shocked the local community and sparked outrage across the region. According to eyewitnesses, Ghulam Mohammad Hafiz Murtaza Shaikh was accompanying his sister to fetch firewood when they were accosted by a group of three to four individuals who physically assaulted him. In a state of panic, the sister fled the scene and sought help from family members.
Upon arrival at the scene, the family discovered Ghulam Mohammad Hafiz Murtaza Shaikh's lifeless body hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are yet to make any arrests. The family and the community demand swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure that such heinous crimes are prevented in the future.
