Ambedkar was born into a family belonging to the Mahar community, which was considered untouchable in the Indian caste system. Despite facing discrimination and hardship from a young age, Ambedkar was a brilliant student and received his education at some of the best institutions in India and abroad. He earned his Master's degree from Columbia University and a PhD from the London School of Economics.
As a social reformer, Ambedkar fought against the caste system and advocated for the rights of Dalits and other marginalized communities. He was one of the architects of the Indian Constitution and is widely regarded as the father of the Indian Constitution. He also played a key role in the formation of the Reserve Bank of India and the establishment of the All India Scheduled Castes Federation.
Ambedkar was a prolific writer and thinker, and his works continue to inspire people around the world. His famous book, "The Annihilation of Caste," is a scathing critique of the caste system and its injustices. He also wrote extensively on the topics of social justice, democracy, and economics.
