Pimpalgaon Raja, Buldana (Tamsil Shahezad Khan) - February 27, 2026 - A horrifying and spine-chilling incident has come to light from Rahud village under Khamgaon taluka of Buldana district, which has shaken the entire region to its core. In this shocking case, a man brutally murdered his own biological brother in cold blood and then set the body on fire to destroy evidence, and subsequently dumped the ashes into a river to ensure no trace of the victim remained. A serious case of murder has been registered at Pimpalgaon Raja Police Station in this gruesome matter and two accused have been taken into custody. This incident has brought great shame upon the sanctity of blood relations and has spread an atmosphere of fear, outrage, and sensation throughout Rahud village and the surrounding areas.
What Is the Full Case?
According to police sources, this case has been registered under Crime Number 47/2026 at Pimpalgaon Raja Police Station under Sections 103(1), 238, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023.
The complainant in this matter is Vilas Devidas Bansode (Age 40 years), who is a farmer by profession and serves as the Police Patil of Rahud village. He informed the police that fellow village resident Chetan Sanjay Ingle (Age 35 years) had not returned home since February 25, 2026. As suspicion deepened over Chetan's sudden disappearance, Vilas Bansode wasted no time and immediately reported the matter to Pimpalgaon Raja Police Station. Upon receiving the information, Station In-charge Mulik and police personnel immediately launched a large-scale search operation to trace Chetan Ingle.
Accused Confesses to Murder During Interrogation
During the police search operation, suspicion fell squarely on the victim's own elder brother Roshan Sanjay Ingle (Age approximately 36 years, resident of Rahud. When police took him into custody and conducted strict interrogation, Roshan confessed to his crime and made a series of shocking revelations one after another.
Roshan told the police that on February 25, 2026, at around 1:30 PM, he lured his brother Chetan to their agricultural field in Rahud. He then carried out the premeditated murder along with his accomplice and co-accused Ravi Devidas Raut (Age approximately 36 years, resident of Mahakal Chowk, Khamgaon). The two accused together struck Chetan repeatedly on the head with an iron rod, due to which Chetan died on the spot in an extremely painful manner.
After committing the murder, both accused cold-bloodedly conspired to destroy all evidence of their heinous crime. They set Chetan's body on fire right there in the field and once the body had completely burned down to ashes, they dumped those ashes into the river, so that no evidence of the crime would remain and they could escape the grip of the law. However, the alertness and swift action of the police foiled their wicked conspiracy completely.
Senior Officials Visit the Crime Scene
As soon as news of this sensational incident reached senior police officials, they immediately swung into action and rushed to the crime scene. They conducted a thorough inspection of the spot, examined every detail carefully, and issued the necessary directions to steer the investigation in the right direction. The further complete investigation of this case is ongoing under the able guidance of Police Inspector Bhagwat Mulik.
Police have stated that interrogation of both accused is still continuing and in the coming days, the real motive behind this murder and several more important revelations are expected to come to light.

Following this heinous and deeply disturbing incident, an atmosphere of fear, silence, and outrage has spread across Rahud village and the surrounding areas. Villagers are finding it impossible to believe that a person could so brutally murder his own biological brother in such a cold-blooded and calculated manner. People are also deeply enraged by the fact that after the murder, the accused burned the body and dumped the ashes in the river to destroy evidence, which clearly exposes their premeditated and utterly cruel mindset.
The police administration has assured the villagers that both accused have been arrested and every possible effort will be made to ensure they receive the strictest punishment possible under the law.
